Checklist for intelligent homes or apartments

In Microsoft chairman Bill Gates' Washington home, everyone is pinned with an electronic tracking chip. With working couples on the rise, men and women in India are looking out for time-saving and convenient ways of making life easier and less stressful. These luxury homes stand as emblems of success for the aspirational Indian, a status symbol for those who've arrived.

Think of your home where; The boom barriers at the main gate automatically open when it identifies the owners car, The main door opens to the touch of the owners palm, so does the door to the lobby and living area! The lights and AC are both remotely controlled by the owner and are on by the time he steps in.  A smart home package for a luxury condo could cost above Rs 5 crore. But regardless of the price, there are many who are opting for such e-wonders.

So the next time your builder promises these featureas ask them if they provide all of these. Ofcourse they come at a price!

  •  E-surveillance with weather proof motion recording, sunlight sensing street lights

  •  Provision for automatic car lift (Double your parking space)
